A Playhouse for everyone to enjoy

Terry Lemmerman has been a member of the Playhouse family since she and her husband Keith became subscribers in 1979. When their children were young, date night at the Playhouse became a special evening for them to share. Today, Terry continues to share her love of the theatre with their children and grandchildren.

The Playhouse has had a starring role in the Lemmerman family. Over the years, she and Keith participated in Play Teams, experiencing the creative development a play undergoes from the first read-through to the closing night toasts. She has joined the annual London trip, attended Artistic Director’s Circle events, and is active with the Leading Ladies, having served as past co-chair and on the steering committee for multiple years. She recently completed her third term on the board of directors where she also served as board secretary.

Leaving a gift to the Playhouse in her estate plan lets Terry share her joy with others and leave a gift that acknowledges the legacy of the Playhouse in her family. “The arts are often underfunded, and it is very hard to provide quality programming if income is unreliable. We were happy to become Morse Johnson Society members to ensure that the Playhouse would be around for many others to enjoy. This legacy helps provide a firm foundation for the future, while acknowledging how important the Playhouse has been to my family.”
