Supporting the Playhouse is a privilege and an honor

Barbara WeyandBarbara has been an essential friend to the Playhouse for many years, and we are grateful for all the ways she makes our work possible. In 2006 Barbara committed to making a legacy gift to the Playhouse and became a member of the Morse Johnson Society.

Barbara’s legacy gift shows her dedication to the Playhouse and its mission to connect the community through theatre. She has ensured that not only will the Playhouse continue to grow, but that audiences will have the opportunity to experience the highest caliber of live theatre for years to come. In addition to advocating for legacy giving in the community, Barbara has been a Playhouse board member for 17 years, is a founding member of the Leading Ladies program, and donated generously to the Directing the Future Capital Campaign. As a subscriber for 22 years, Barbara estimates she has seen close to 200 shows on Playhouse stages. “Helping to ensure the Playhouse of the future has been a privilege and an honor,” Barbara says.
